Bass & Grass is an all-inclusive boutique festival celebrating music, fishing, and food in the heart of Middle Georgia.
I create custom illustrations, merchandise, and promotional materials that capture the festival's unique energy. As the event has grown, I’ve expanded my role into Marketing Director, overseeing all aspects of the festival’s brand and promotion including web design, email marketing, social content, and press outreach.
The result is a distinct brand identity and a loyal, growing audience that returns year after year for one of the Southeast’s most unique festival experiences.
For Bass & Grass No. 13, I designed graphics and merch inspired by old school rodeo posters. I had tons of fun researching 1800s slab serif fonts and drawing a “bucking bronco” style largemouth bass!
Bass & Grass attendees receive a custom designed “Bassport” containing an event schedule, fishing regulations, a festival map, and surprise challenges like scavenger hunts and Bingo.
I’ve been designing festival merch since 2009! Printed locally in Atlanta, Georgia and then hand delivered to the festival merch station. What will we design for next year???
