Results: With over 127K views and an industry award for best online series, the content helped cement Skechers Basketball as a global contender.

Just weeks after launching the Skechers Basketball brand and social channels, we departed for a promo tour through China and the Philippines with Julius Randle and Terance Mann. The itinerary was stacked: media appearances, youth clinics, cultural tours, fan meet and greets, a court-sized mural unveiling, and lots of basketball.

Our team traveled with the athletes every step of the way, documenting the adventures in real time. We kept our fanbase engaged with a steady stream of content across IG stories, Reels, TikToks, and BTS photo dumps. Our crew also produced a more polished episodic recap series showing the experience through the athletes’ POV.

The travel content amplified our launch campaign, built legitimacy across our new channels, and helped establish Skechers Basketball as a legit player on the global stage.

Our very first shoot location was atop the Great Wall of China. From there, we covered a comprehensive schedule of events in Beijing, Chengdu, and finally, Manila.

Our storytelling captured the athletes’ personality, the local culture, and the overall excitement of traveling through Asia to promote the sport. Chengdu’s iconic Dayuan Central Park provided an epic backdrop for sharing some of these moments.


After seeing the level of execution of our travel content, Skechers asked us to repurpose select imagery for products beyond the basketball category.
