Client: Caesars Sportsbook
Role: Creative Direction
Results: The app gained 17% market share in under 6 months.
Welcome to the world of Caesars Sportsbook. Where past and present collide, Caesar is played by JB Smoove, and one sports betting app rules them all. This high-profile campaign combined comedy, hubris, and lavish production to promote the Caesars Sportsbook app with unforgettable style.
Full disclosure: I didn’t create the campaign concept—but I did lead the creative team that brought it to life across every social touchpoint. We established a clear social vision for the brand, developed massive amounts of paid content to drive app downloads, and captured custom, social-first assets on set with JB Smoove, Halle Berry, and celebrated sports figures.
Your app is ready, Emperor.
At any given time, our team managed up to 19 simultaneous promotions—each with static, animated, and video assets. Every deliverable was adapted for five platforms (FB, TW, IG, IG Stories, Snapchat), resulting in 285+ unique assets in active production. Needless to say, our creative workflow was extremely organized.
One of my favorite mood boards to date. Created not for a specific deliverable, but to set the tone, energy, and attitude for everything our social team touched.
Our role running Caesars’ social channels leveled up during the brand’s Super Bowl debut. We amplified the spectacle with a comprehensive strategy that captured the pageantry, excitement, and cultural heat of the moment—before, during, and after the game. This included a full behind-the-scenes content capture, showing an inside look at the making of the spot.

To handle the huge scope of deliverables, I worked with an all-star team of animators, videographers, designers, writers, project managers, and account leads. In just 4 months, we grew the business to warrant more animation and video support, plus full production crews on location for shoots. Shoutout to everyone involved! Especially Ian Langenhuysen, Blake Bronstad, Key Higdon, Torey Itaya, and Kate Adolphson for turning production chaos into cinematic magic.
Credit for the creation of this campaign goes to Jeff Kling, Spence Kramer, and their team. Thanks for trusting us to bring Caesar’s message to life in fun new ways.
